Welcome to Comanche Flyer Foundation where we offer targeted Comanche training programs designed to help you achieve your flying goals. Our programs are tailored to the Comanche pilot and owner to provide a comprehensive understanding of the airplane and prepare you for a successful Comanche piloting experience.

Comanche Pilot Proficiency Program
Would you like to spend a weekend with your fellow Comanche owners and learn more about your airplane and skills? The Comanche Flyer Foundation will be conducting a weekend training seminar from Oct 3rd and 4th, 2026.
The seminar will be hosted at Heritage Aero in Freeport, Illinois. This is the home of Cliff Wilewski, who will be teaching the Maintenance program on Saturday, October 3rd. and then the Comanche Flyer Foundation Professional CFI's will provide flight training on Sunday, October 4th.

PILOT EDUCATION
Our program covers a wide variety of information and skills you need to know to be a proficient Comanche pilot, from fundamental principles to advanced flight maneuvers and emergency procedures.
BI-ANNUAL FLIGHT REVIEWS
In addition to best practices for flying your Comanche, this training will also count towards your FAA required Bi-Annual Flight Review.
AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE
Learn the basics of aircraft maintenance and gain insightful experience in ensuring the airworthiness of different aircraft components, equipping you with valuable knowledge to be an informed owner of a Comanche.
